Pair of plates – Doccia

Pair of porcelain plates with scalloped edges, decorated in the well with polychrome painted figures set in pastoral landscapes, in the style of Giovan Battista Fanciullacci. The rim is highlighted internally by a ring of golden leaves, while the outer edge features the period’s characteristic decoration of contiguous golden ellipses with a central blue dot, known as “A ova tagliate.”
